Lateral 30 positioning cushion
Used on the patients posterior surface, provides pressure relief for trochanter, sacrum, ankles, inner spine. A semi-ventral position relieve pressure of lung bases and frees the upper airways. Positioned under the calves, reduce pressure on the ankles, and placed under the thighs, decreases tension in tendons and muscles in lower back and abdomen
