Navel - Social Communication Robot

Navel is an empathetic and social communication robot developed for use in elderly care and social care. Navel has been in use in German nursing homes since 2023. It activates residents in need of care cognitively and emotionally, improves well-being and cognitive abilities in dementia patients, and relieves the burden on nursing staff.
