MiniBox is a personal alarm, which is used to call for help in unsafe situations. The alarm press is initiated by pressing the button, in the middle of the alarm, for 3 seconds. The alarm press will typically be handled by an emergency dispatch centre, but it is also possible to handle the alarm press yourself. The size corresponds to a matchbox.

The personal alarm uses GPS to calculate its position. When an alarm press is made, the position is sent to an emergency dispatch centre. Simultaneously, a two-way communication between the alarm and emergency dispatch centre is established. It is possible to make a silent call. The emergency dispatch centre transmit information to the police.
