Star Sentinel Powered by Kalogon, Sensor for Star Cushions

Sentinel is a sensor that automatically detects when the user is on and off the cushion. It continuously monitors and adjusts the air level to the clinically set level and adjusts in relation to changes in the environment. ForeSite Intelligent Surface (IS) from XSensor is used to monitor patient pressure distribution and movement on beds. The mattress sensor has more than 1500 pressure cells and a cover that is compatible with most mattresses. The sensor can be connected to cloud-based software, but can also be read on a tablet or the hospitals own computer.
